Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her role as Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series The Magicians (2015-present). She had previously gained recognition by playing the 13-year-old American Lebanese girl Jasira Maroun who undergoes emotional and traumatic experiences against the context of the U.S. invasion of Iraq during the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film Towelhead. She was later named one of The Top 10 actresses in the world by Variety for 2007 was also a great recognition. Crossing Over, a 2009 thriller that focuses on crime, in which she portrayed a female character named Taslima Jangir, was selected for an Independent Spirit Award nominee for the Best Female Lead category.
